Starplayer
All Teams:
Akhorne the Squirrel
|
I made this conversion because I wanted an Akhorne that matched the scale of the old 28mm teams.
In hindsight, I shouldn't have placed him on a ball, given that he has the No Hands skill. A skull or a helmet would have been much more appropriate.

Early in my Blood Bowl career, I didn’t own an Akhorne model, so I had to use a proxy. I used this somewhat cute toy figurine. These days,
he will be used for the teams I converted from Kinder Surprise figures, as he fits right in.

Helmut Wulf

This is a 3D-printed figure I bought from Greebo Games called "Gart, The Solver." I really dislike the current Games Workshop Helmut Wulf and think Greebo's Gart looks much cooler in comparison.
Unfortunately, the quality isn’t perfect—you can see some print lines. Other than that, it's a great replacement!

Sylvanian Spotlight:
Frank 'n' Stein
|
I bought this Frank 'n' Stein replacement at Spiel 2023 in Essen for just €3 from a company called Only-Games.com. It was also 3D-printed.
However, the extremely low price came with a drawback—more than half of the blisters they were selling had missing pieces or damaged figures. You had to look very closely. Additionally, some print lines are visible.
But for that price, one really can’t complain!

Ivan "The Animal" Deathshroud

I really like the Games Workshop model, especially the impaled dwarf heads on the back.
However, it also comes with the typical Games Workshop drawbacks—very fragile parts, like the bat wings on the helmet, which don’t hold up to extensive play.
I’m also not a fan of the modeled spider webs—they just don’t look right at this scale.
