This match played out pretty predictably given the matchup. But there was one remarkable moment: I was leading 1–0 and my werewolf was running
toward my opponent’s end zone. All the Tomb Kings had been tackled, and the coach had pretty much lost hope.
Half-jokingly, I said he could still reach the ball carrier with his Tomb Guardian if he dodged and made two Go For Its.
And he actually did it: rolled everything successfully, blitzed my Werewolf, and I lost the ball. Because of that, I couldn’t score in that half.

Very early in the first half, when I had the offense, I accidentally exposed one of my Ghoul Runners at the rear side of my cage.
He seized the opportunity and blitzed him with his Mighty Blow/Tackle Blitzer — and got a casualty!
But now his Blitzer was deep in my half and surrounded by my entire team, so I blocked him — also causing a casualty. His bash game seemed to rely heavily
on this player, because after that, I slowly gained the upper hand. |
